46 South Fish Company is not your typical seafood supplier. They specialize in the harvest, logistics and import of fresh seafood to Canada, coordinating orders directly between their partner fishing companies and Canadian chefs. With deep roots in the fishing industry in New Zealand, 46 South was formed to bring premium New Zealand shellfish to respective buyers across Canada. From those early beginnings, they have grown to accommodate a wide range of unique premium ocean products from the isolated waters of New Zealand, Hawaii and British Columbia. Rather than picking product off a shelf, they deliver seafood caught to order within 48 hours from across the globe.
The nature of fishing is to not have any guarantees of the catch. Many things must line up: weather, seasons, cooperative fish, and a market that understands what goes on behind the scenes to bring premium fresh seafood to the plate. With this in mind, they came to us for a rebrand to align them with the modern market while keeping their heritage intact. We worked to create their new logo and brand essence Between the Lines, born from the connection they bring between fishing companies and chefs, and the southern and northern hemispheres.
