La Trattoria Italiana is the restaurant at Ruby Lake Resort, famous for serving fresh local produce cooked in the Northern Italian style. For over 20 years this institution on the Sunshine Coast has thrived, but done so without a solid brand identity. Renowned chef and owner, Aldo Cogrossi wanted something that reflected the family’s northern Italian history – along side his love for nature, bird-life and the seafood that is at the forefront of his menu. I also felt that these more rustic & classic elements needed a contemporary edge in order to accurately represent the quality of the cuisine on offer. The end result was something that Aldo, along with his large base of loyal customers, was thrilled with.
